Bishop Apostle Dr. Zella Berry Case,
President and Visionary
Ordained by God to be a spokesperson of His word, and I do declare to the utmost that I was born a leader. I have been in the pulpit since I was six years old, when the pastor at that time, the Reverend Turner, captured me and set me in the pulpit after getting a spanking from my mother for saying "AMEN" like the deacon was saying at Center Chapel A.M.E.Zion Church in Coinjock, North Carolina. (Little did I know that was the beginning of the beginning of life (that I presently have as (servanthood) with Jesus Christ.
A Bishop (Consecrated 2005), Overseer, and a Modern-Day Apostle. A Visionary, Author, encourager, motivator, teacher, preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Biblical educator, and spiritual entrepreneur.
A native of Currituck County, North Carolina, and born to the late Deacon Zion H. and Hattie M. Berry (family home - Barco, North Carolina), just 21 miles from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Married for 45 years to Suffragan Bishop Dr. Martin W. Case, and is the mother of two children, Eric Wendell & Jillian Summer-Starr Case. I have five granddaughters, whom I adore.

I have spent many years empowering and equipping Christian believers who profess to be leaders in the Five-Fold Ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16) - strengthening, developing, assisting, and deepening their God-given ministry.
In preparation for this, I spent more than 20 years at Apex School of Theology in Durham, North Carolina, and earned several degrees.
BTU (Bachelor in Theology)
MCE (Master of Arts in Christian Education)
MDiv (Master of Arts in Divinity)
DMIN (Doctor of Ministry)
Apex School of Theology, Durham, North Carolina.
Also, attended Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, before moving to the Chapel Hill area with my husband for two years.
"I'm a Believer in Jesus Christ, a trainer, restorator, developer of the Five-Fold Ministry, and one who takes the Word of God to extremes as a teacher, honing in on details of such to the utmost.

Bishop Dr. Larry D. Reid, Sr.,
Dean of Chaplain Service

Bishop Dr. Alford Marshall
Associate Dean
Faciliatator
Bishop Dr. Alfred Marshall was born in Savannah, Georgia, to the late Carrie Ball Marshall and the late Joseph Carter. Growing up with six sisters and two brothers, he attended Jenkins High School in Cumberland County, Savannah, GA.
After high school, he embarked on a distinguished 15-year military career that took him around the world, broadening his horizons and experiences. Following his military service, Bishop Marshall felt a divine calling to pursue ministry.
Determined to overcome challenges in reading—a skill he once considered a weakness—he enrolled at Carolina Century College in Sanford, NC. His passion for ministry led him to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Religious Education at Hatchet Bible College in Dunn, NC. His academic journey continued at Apex School of Theology, where he earned both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Christian Education. Later, he completed his doctoral studies at Apex School of Theology in Durham, NC.
After earning his Doctorate, Bishop Marshall served as a mentor in Lafayette Maxwell's doctoral program for about three years. He taught at Apex School of Theology learning sites in Fayetteville, NC, and Lumberton, NC. For the past seventeen years, he has faithfully served as the Senior Pastor of Without Walls Apostolic Christian Fellowship in Spring Lake, NC, guiding and inspiring his congregation with his leadership and commitment.
My name is Larry Darnell Reid, Sr., born and reared in Durham, NC. I am the sixth of nine children born to the late Mr. David Reid, Jr., and Mrs. Ida Bea Martin Reid.
When I was a young boy, my mother joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Durham, North Carolina, and, naturally, all of her younger children followed suit. Early on, it was noticed by many that I had an eagerness and excitement about learning as much as I could about God, so much so that in 1970 (16 years old), I was ordained as a Jehovah’s Witness Minister.
I received my formal education from the Durham County School System and graduated from Jordan High School in 1974. At the age of 18, I began my military career in the United States Navy Seabees (1974-1996). I am a retired Civil Engineer from the United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps (CEC), where I served for 22 years, reaching the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2. I was on active duty in the Kuwait Desert Storm and Desert Shield and retired in 1996.
I furthered my education in the ministry at Apex School of Theology, seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. I have served in multiple capacities in the church body, including Deacon, Trustee, Pastor’s Assistant, Church Treasurer/Finance Director, and Conference Moderator, at Faith Tabernacle Oasis of Love, New Covenant Christian Church, and Cathedral of Hope Mission Church. Over the last 15 years, I have served as pastor of the Cathedral of Hope Mission Church in Carrboro, NC. I was ordained as a Bishop in August 2013 by my Prelate Bishop Dr Zella Berry Case. I am serving as the 1st Ecclesiastical Bishop in Adjoining Life Ministries.
Proverbs 18:22 “A man who finds a wife finds a good thing…” In June 1981, I married my love and life partner, Karen M. Reid. We have two beautiful adult children, Larry Jr. and Karysha, and one precious granddaughter, Leilani.
In the community, I have shared my God-given talent and the skills of my hands as an NC Licensed General Contractor (licensed since 1986-present), have served on various boards and capacities with the local NAACP, and have been an advocate within our neighborhoods at the local and state levels. We have welcomed the sick, homeless, and transitioning into our home, where they were ministered to, loved, fed, cared for, and given shelter. Matthew 25:40 “… since ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” The Bible is my favorite book. My favorite passage that speaks to the heart of God is 2nd Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
I believe God called me to feed His sheep. Ordained to teach and preach the gospel. First, being a student of the word of God myself, then a teacher, I believe that God sent his son Jesus for the forgiveness of my sins to be my savior and my deliverer, and to teach the same to all who will receive. To God be the Glory!
